Yesterday, I turned 37 years old. I have no grand insights to share with you. It was a nice day. I went shopping with my friend Erin. We had lunch at Ruby Tuesdays. The kids gave me cards and we ate Peanut Butter cake from Cold Stone. I had to work in the evening. It was a day with very little time to sit and ponder my age. That's probably good since I am closer and closer to the big 40!

With several days of 50 degree temperatures, our backyard rink is quickly disappearing. This photo also shows how much Ben's shot has improved. Ben shot a puck at back of the net one day when it was very cold. Plastic hockey nets, might have been a big mistake!

By the way, Ben's team won 3rd place at his tournament this weekend.

Hockey is once again taking over this weekend. In fact, Ben and I are heading to Onalaska, WI for a tournament with his team. I am excited to spend a few days with Ben. We don't get very much Ben and Mom time anymore! Andrew and Ethan have a tournament here in Ames. Nadia will spend Saturday with her friend Courtney. The weekend will fly by!

I have to miss the annual retreat of my scrapbook gang. I am making up for it by spending lots of free time scrapping. It sounds very logical to me! I did clean the bathroom today....that counts doesn't? I wanted to share 2 new ones with you.
