December 2014

I created a Shutterfly book for our December 2014.

Marching band

Marching Band Friday night.

First Day of school

Happy back to school day.   Ben is in 10th, Ethan in 7th & Nadia is in 3rd.
Looking forward to a happy and successful year.

Harvest has begun

We are excited to pick our first beans and tomatoes of the season.

Soccer

Nadia's game on Saturday.   She scored 3 goals.
Way to go girl!

Drawing

Spending  a little time sketching with dad.

Free little library

Lots of Free little libraries are popping up around the city.
It's lots of fun.

Not more

Enough already its almost April will it ever stop? Definitely ready for spring around here.

Birthday flowers

My birthday flowers.  On sale after Valentine's day.  A man after my own heart.

Warmer weather

Enjoying spring break.

Good night

Hockey over for the season, which leaves more time for goodnight stories.

Cousin crazy

Enjoying a little pool time with the cousins and Grandma.

Baking

The day off school is a perfect day to Bake cookies with Nadia.
They tasted fantastic!
It could have been the 2 sticks of butter in 24 cookies.  YUM!

Blizzard warning

A blizzard warning for this after noon and tonight.
All the kids had an early out from school.
Not sure what tomorrow will bring,  as the winds are picking up.

Chicken Noodle Soup

I was making Chicken Noodle soup for dinner.    Nadia asks me,   Why do I feel sneezy?    Me: I just added some seasonings to the soup.   N:  Do you mean Sneezonings?

I can always count on her for a good 1 liner.

Cold

Another day with school delayed by 2 hours because of bittercold temperatures. I am getting a little tired of winter.

Stratego

Ben is teaching Nadia a new game.  She's a little frustrated,  but she will get it.

Conversation

Conversation from this morning...

Me:   "Nad,  do you have a hat and gloves?  It's supposed to be cold and windy today and I don't want you to get cold and windy."
N:   "Yes, they are in my backpack, but I don't really think I will get windy."

Just wanted to share the photo book I made with the Christmas Pictures.

New refrigerator

Our old refrigerator decided to stop working.  Watching the delivery and installment of our new one.  It's fun to get new things, but it was hard to spend the money.  :)
